Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are new parents once again.

In a note on her website, the reality star shared that at 12:47 a.m. on Monday, they welcomed a baby girl via surrogate, born seven pounds and six ounces.

“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she wrote. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”

The child, whose name hasn’t been revealed just yet, joins big sister North, 4, and big brother Saint, 2.

Just this past November, Kardashian said she was trying to find a way to explain the pregnancy to her children after she was asked why the surrogate wasn’t invited to her baby shower. They went the surrogacy route after two complicated pregnancies and an unsuccessful procedure to improve Kardashian’s chances of having a third child.

“It was like a weird decision to have to make,” she said while a guest on The Real. “Of course, I would’ve wanted her to be there and be a part of it, but I hadn’t really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet. So I have to figure that out first before they really see and then if we’re celebrating, you know, her, I just want to celebrate the baby. I think I have to explain it to my kids first and figure out how I’m going to explain it to them.”

But Kardashian did say that she had grown close with her surrogate as the pregnancy progressed.

“I love her. I have the best relationship with my surrogate,” she said. “She’s so nice. She is the perfect person to do this for my family. She’s great. She’s been amazing.”
