Another rap beef can be laid to rest.
Remy Ma recently appeared on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning show and said she has moved on from the beef with Nicki Minaj.
“I don’t understand how many times I have to tell people,” the “Shether” rapper said. “All of you in here have known me for years. I have no problem saying her name. I’m so over that. I’m past that. I’m in a good space.”
When she teamed up with Lil’Kim, who is Nicki’s arch nemesis, for her new single “Wake Me Up,” it was automatically assumed that the two were throwing jabs at the Young Money femcee. The Love & Hip Hop star shut those rumors down and said the song has nothing to do with their beef.
“It was just two dope rap chicks getting together making a dope rap record,” she clarified.
Rem also saluted the Queen Bee for what she has done for females in hip-hop.
“I think Kim is an icon and I think she should be paid way more respect. To me she’s the Madonna of female rap.”
Check out the interview below where she also talks about Vincent Herbert now being her manager, signing to Columbia Records, Khia throwing shade to her and more.
